Implementation Support and Knowledge Mobilization team

At CADTH, we don’t simply write a report and move on. We’re committed to making sure our work has impact. Our Implementation Support and Knowledge Mobilization team is at your service to help you make and implement evidence-informed policy and practice decisions.

Your Home Is Our Home

ISKM team members are located across the country and provide CADTH with an insider’s understanding of each health jurisdiction. They include health professionals with a variety of skills — such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, research, communications, and education. Like you, they know first-hand what does and doesn’t work in your area.

We believe that having CADTH staff located close to customers is invaluable when working in a field as complex as health care in a country as vast as Canada. It means you’ll never have to call across three time zones to get the help you need.

Be the Change

Our ISKMteam can work with you one-on-one to make sure CADTH fully understands your evidence needs. They can help you select the right CADTH product and service, and formulate your research question so that you receive evidence you can use.

Once you have the evidence and are ready to act on it, the ISKM team can provide you with the tools and advice to help turn evidence into action. Our implementation support toolkit is vast and getting bigger every time we help our customers. We produce plain language summaries, prescribing tools and decision aids, publications, online resources, and much more.

The CADTH ISKM team can also help you build the capacity and culture to work with evidence within your organization. We offer a variety of workshops — such as Critical Appraisal 101, Business Case Boot Camp, Introduction to Health Technology Assessment, and Moving Evidence into Practice.

Leverage Our Network

CADTH is well connected to health care stakeholders and resources. When you work with our ISKM team, you will be, too. We can facilitate collaboration and help transfer knowledge and best practices. We know what has worked in similar environments and we know the people who made it work.

CADTH works closely with other Canadian and international evidence organizations — if we don’t have the information and resources you need, our ISKM team may be able to find them for you from another trusted source.
